Composer Rybnikov - author of the famous "Juno" and "maybe" - completion of a trilogy on the theme of Scripture. It is based on a symphonic work work "Penitential Psalms." In May this year as part of the Moscow Art Festival "Cherry Orchard" had its world premiere Rybnikov Fifth Symphony "Resurrection of the Dead" on the texts of the Old Testament prophets and played in four languages - Greek, Hebrew, Latin and Russian. The writing is for orchestra, organ and chamber choir. The first work on the biblical theme was the opera "liturgy", written about 10 years ago.
